The New Outsourcing Idea
Today I happened to read some details about a book named "These Foolish Things" authored by Deborah Moggach.This book according to some details I heard/read brings upon a very interesting idea, and that is to "Outsource the care for the elderly to Bangalore in India".

According to some comments available about the book, readers/reviewers seem to have agreed with that idea and see some possibilities of that happening, sometime in future.
I am sure this will be quickly picked by some health care institutions here and it’s really a fact that the number of tourists who visit India to be on the rise for healthcare/medication.
Its little sad to note that the number of old age homes are on the rise here already and one of the main reasons being more nuclear families, children’s of old aged parents serving abroad without returning back etc.
But I am sure that this new outsourcing idea might not really have any big complaints from western world and to be welcomed greatly. Why? I will not get into the reasons.

Million Dollar Homepage
When I first came to know about this I thought or should I say I screamed that it’s my idea. Yes, it’s true, I was toying with something similar but realized that a better version of it is already made and sold. Hmm, I am talking about the http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/
“The idea is simple: to try and make $1m (US) by selling 1,000,000 pixels for $1 each. Hence, 'The Million Dollar Homepage". “
And the 21 year old Alex Tew from England had made a cool US$1,037,100 for a simple 5 months work.
If something is available in US, then something similar or better (copy?) should be made available in India/China aswell right, so here we go, the Desi version http://crorepatipage.com/

Ultra Mobile PC
Origami – the ultra mobile pc.
Microsoft is officially announcing its origami project today at CeBIT , there was a lot of hype/questions on what it is as the origami created lots of interest and expectation and very good advertisement from Microsoft without actually explaining on what it is.
“The "Origami" project is really our first step toward achieving a big vision. We believe that UMPCs will eventually become as indispensable and ubiquitous as mobile phones are today,’ said Bill Mitchell, Corporate Vice President Windows Mobile Platforms Division.

Looks like its a mixture of LapTop + Mobile + PalmTop + Blackberry , all features combined into one. I am not clear on which market segment would Microsoft target for this, who would be really using this or useful to ???

Blog Everywhere
Sabeer Bhatia the popular founder of Hotmail who successfully sold it to Microsoft later had come with his new venture called blogeverywhere .

Seems the blogeverywhere does not require the users to migrate from any other blog tools that they are currently working, that’s really a good thing.
Q What is the "CC: External Blog" feature?
The "CC: External Blog" feature allows you to cross post any comment being added on BlogEverywhere.com to your external blog hosted with another blog provider. This way you do not need to migrate from another blog provider to be part of BlogEverywhere.com.
I haven’t used it yet, but the FAQ explains,
